I first travelled alone to India in 2001 to fulfil a dream, to see the magical Taj Mahal. I had heard and read so much about it I was apprehensive it would not live up to the hype. However I was not disappointed and I remember promising myself as I left, and took one last glance, that I would return, not a question of if, but when.
Eight months later an opportunity arose to achieve my ultimate lifetime ambition, to see a wild Bengal tiger from elephant back. This proved to be a truly life changing moment and I have returned to India every year, sometimes twice, to revisit the tigers and explore new parts of India.
This has allowed me to build a wide network of contacts, people with expertise in many fields and my colleagues in India have many years of experience in the travel industry.
A regular comment I hear is “I would love to visit India but…..”
The sheer geographic size, the crowds, the bustle, the noise, the dust, the flies can all be daunting for the first time visitor to India. Indeed my first visit was part of a tour bus, cocooned from reality. But it was a strangely sterile experience. So over the next few years I made some good friends and built a network of reliable contacts. I booked my own flight and travelled extensively within India. Now I want to share my experience and knowledge with other adventurers who do not wish to be herded on and off buses, following the pack. We offer you independence with a helping hand.
Tell us your likes and dislikes, your dreams and ambitions and we will create
a journey for you with the flexibility you need to see the real India.
Be our GUEST, not a tourist, and enjoy India at your own pace.
